Tax Appointment Information

Use the information below to prepare for your scheduled tax appointment.



  • The deadline for employers to mail out Form W-2 to employees and for businesses and financial institutions to furnish Form 1099 statements is January 31st, 2023. It is highly suggested you wait until after this date to file your tax return.

  • NEW TAX SOFTWARE INTUIT LINK will be used to submit documentation. All documentation must be received 48 hours prior to your appointment to ensure that data entry is completed. REQUEST NEW LINK ACCOUNT.


  • TAX ENGAGEMENT LETTER:  This form outlines the responsibilities of you as the taxpayer and me as the tax preparer and must read and sign it before your tax return can be submitted.

  • CLIENT ORGANIZER:  The organizer is designed in a way to provide the necessary demographic and current tax year’s income and expense information, but you also need to send your prior year’s tax return to ensure nothing is overlooked.

  • PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION: Documentation is required for every individual included on the tax return. A copy of a Driver’s license, school ID, social security card, adoption or court documents, etc.

  • HEALTH INSURANCE: Proof of health insurance is required for each person included on the tax return. Statements 1095-A, 1095-B or 1095-C are acceptable

  • PREVIOUS TAX RETURNS: New clients should also submit a copy of your prior year’s tax return to ensure nothing is overlooked and to allow for a year over year tax comparison.

  • OTHER DOCUMENTATION:  Certain tax situations require additional documentation to be provided before your return can be submitted.

  4. Email – In special situations, we will receive documents via email.  Contact your tax specialist for the preferred email address.

** Intuit Link – We take document security seriously and we take measures to ensure your identity and documentation are protected against data breaches. Therefore, we are offering $10 OFF Tax Services when you use this service. Set up your account so you can start transferring your tax documents and you will have access to your information throughout the year. And, if you don’t have access to a scanner, you can use your SmartPhone and upload pictures directly on the site.
