Prophetess earned a Bachelor Degree in History and Business Administration from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She went on to obtain certifications in personal financial planning (PFP), investment sales (Series 7 & 63), estate planning, accounting, and project management (PMP). After working in commercial banking and investment sales, she returned to school and graduated with honors with a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from University of Southern California (USC). And then went on to earn a Masters in Business Taxation from USC.

Prophetess started her career in commercial banking and spent several years in financial services, investments and health insurance sales. While working in investment sales, she attended UCLA Extension and started taking classes in tax & accounting. She then started her own professional tax & financial planning practice, Sound Profit Solutions (formerly AMB Tax), focusing on, individual and business taxation. Throughout her career, she has simultaneously owned & operated the firm and has serviced hundreds of clients and completed several thousand tax returns in over 40 states.
Prophetess is passionate about serving others throughout the world she has coordinated missions to South Africa, Mexico and the Bahamas and has served in various leadership & volunteer roles supporting United Way, Alpha Kappa Alpha, USC Giving Fund, Junior Achievement, and various corporate foundations.
In addition to the services provided through Sound Profit Tax & Finance, she offers training workshops and business consulting through Advancing the Seed to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Prophetess is on the board of directors for several charities including Advancing the Seed and Antioch Missions International, a member of Zoe Christian Fellowship of Whittier and a PTA board member at Burbank Elementary School. In her spare time, she enjoys mentoring, traveling and spending time with her husband and her family.
